Reason Seven:

THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME

I still study scripture on my own, as I have done for twenty-two years.  I still don't go to church.  I meet with friends in homes, in parking lots or under evergreen trees, where God deems fit.  I teach my children about God on Saturday mornings while we all drink orange juice on the sofa.

Every other Friday night I go to a Bible study in Indianapolis at the home of some people I know. Sometimes I teach there, sometimes I go to listen to someone else talk. Once in a while, everyone talks. This is a beautiful thing because of how freelance it is. There is no set agenda here and no real schedule. Everything just goes like it’s supposed to go. Different people come all the time.

I gather with new folks whenever God gives the opportunity.
